2nd Street Apartments

Located in the City of Puyallup’s Central Business District, this 20-unit apartment building was designed to blend into the context of the neighborhood as well as define the northern edge of the downtown core. The form, massing, scale, and bulk emphasize patterns of the surrounding neighborhood while improving the pedestrian experience near the Sounder Station.

All ground floor units are designed to be ADA compliant. Energy efficient features include high-performance glazing, high-efficiency HVAC equipment, and Energy Star Rated appliances throughout. The sidewalks are designed to allow water to pass through to the ground below for the root systems of the new street trees.
