We are currently providing vision planning, master planning, and conceptual design to convert an existing retail space into a grocery-style food bank. The goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where the guests have a choice in what they take home. We will also provide a community drop-in center where partner organizations can come and offer their services.
The master plan is to develop this project in phases. Phase one involves renovating the 8,400 SF existing building to have the shopping center, warehouse area, manager office, staff break room, community drop-in center, and a new 2,700 SF admin building. Phase 2 is still in early planning and may be a commercial kitchen, business incubator, and/or something else that would further support this one-stop shop for the community.
