Youth Wildlife Interpretive Center

Youth Wildlife Interpretive Center

Since 1960 this nearly 125 acre property has been used to connect young people to the outdoors, and the YMCA recently acquired the property with ambitious plans to modernize it’s facilities to meet 21st century safety and accessibility demands. As part of a Master Plan to improve the entire site, the Wildlife Interpretive Center will provide an opportunity for children to learn about wildlife, explore nature, and enjoy fun-filled safe adventures. The building will be 2,855 square feet and will feature a large assembly area, warming kitchen, and ADA accessible restrooms. We have also provided a large covered shelter adjacent to the building for lunch and other activities.
